Year 8 Electronic Dice Levels

 

This should only be used as a guide; your teacher will take into account the entire project when giving you a level and will know which level you are working at. This may be higher or lower than those described below depending on your final project outcome.

 

Plan of Making Level

 

3          You show a basic list of some methods of your making.

 

4          You have drawn some basic pictures of your making with a basic list.

 

5          You have drawn most stages of your making. For both the electronics

 and the enclosure with notes for each stage.

 

6         You have drawn your plan of making for both your electronics and enclosure, together with well drawn diagrams and well written explanations for each step.

 

 

Final Product Level

 

3         Your final design is completed with teachers support and help. Your

electronics are soldered to the board.

 

4         Your final design is completed with parts fitting together with teachers support and help. Your electronics are soldered to the board with most components placed correctly.

 

5          Your final design is completed to a good standard with edges smooth. All parts fit together well and are well presented. Your electronics are placed correctly on the circuit board and soldered to a good standard.

  

6         Your final design is completed to a high standard, the edges are smooth and the Circuit Board and Battery fits in well. Your acrylic fits well. Your electronics are placed and soldered to a high standard; all components are laid flat on the board, resistors the same way around and other components the correct way around. Your electronics programmed successfully and are fully working.
